Share your research, clinical experience, and innovative surgical insights at ASIRAJ 2026. Participants are invited to submit abstracts for scientific presentations, poster sessions, and academic discussions during the conference.

Abstract Submission

Deadline: 15th August 2026

ASIRAJ 2026 encourages surgeons, residents, researchers, and medical professionals to contribute high-quality scientific work that advances surgical knowledge and clinical excellence. Selected abstracts will be presented before distinguished faculty and delegates from across the country.

CALL FOR ABSTRACT - PAPER & POSTER PRESENTATION

  • The presenter must be a Teaching Faculty, Non-Teaching Faculty/Consultant, or Post-Graduate Resident in a postgraduate programme doing his/her MS or DNB course in General Surgery in the state of Rajasthan.
  • The presenter must have registered for ASIRAJ 2026.
  • The first author must be the presenter.
  • Age limit for presentation of papers is 50 years, for posters there is no age limit
  • One person can present only 1 paper and 1 poster in ASIRAJ 2026.
  • More than 1 submission in either of category of paper or poster will automatically lead to rejection of presentation by team of abstract committee.
  • Substitution of presenter or papers will not be allowed under any circumstance. If the presenter cannot come, the selected paper cannot be presented.
  • If an author wishes to withdraw the presentation, he/she must inform the Organizing Secretary of the conference at least 4 (FOUR) weeks before the meeting so that the programme can be reorganized.
  • The presenter if he/she is a postgraduate resident must submit a certificate from his/her head of the department stating:
  • The presenter is a student in his/her department.
  • Most of the work (at least 75%) being presented is the original work of the presenter.
  • The work has not been presented in any format earlier in a meeting or publication.
  • The work has been done in Rajasthan.
  • The presentation – Abstract must be submitted on or before the deadline for submission i.e. 15th August, 2026.
  • The submitted papers and photos will not be returned. The presenter must keep a copy of the submission and photos.
  • The same data set cannot be used in two papers.
  • For Case Reports/Series, the mandatory format is: Introduction / Case Report / Discussion / Conclusion."
  • In judging the presentation for selection, importance will be given to originality, nature of work, scientific content, professional relevance and quality of presentation. During the presentation in the meeting exceeding the allotted time may result in negative marks being awarded.
  • The judges’ decision will be final and binding.
  • The author of the accepted papers will be intimated by email.
  • The deadline for submission will be 15th August 2026 unless announced separately in the conference brochure or Conference website.
  • All the presenters will be getting certificates of presentation.

Guidelines for Best Paper

  • The paper must be clearly marked ON THE TOP that it is for the Best Paper Award.
  • Mention only name of the presenting author. Designation and institute where the work was done should not be mentioned and his/her age should be less than 45 years.
  • Word limit: Abstract should not be more than 300 words.
  • Format: Presenting Author name without affiliation. Introduction/ Methods/Results/Conclusion. Do not include figures/tables/ graphs in the abstract. Use only generic names for drugs.
  • Presentation time: 8 minutes, Q & A – 2 minutes.
  • Reviews/opinions based on published data not containing author’s own data will not be selected for best paper.
  • Those papers which are not selected for podium presentation of Best Paper category will automatically be selected as free paper.

Guidelines for Free Paper

  • The paper must be clearly marked ON THE TOP that it is for the Free Paper.
  • Only registered delegates and registered PG students are permitted to submit the abstract for papers, posters. Please submit the registration number along with the abstract.
  • The first author will be the contact person for all correspondence about the presentation. The name of the presenter should be underlined.
  • The papers which are already published in a journal or presented in a previous conference will not be allowed for presentation.
  • The title should be short and precise. Abstract limited to 300 words.
  • The last date of submission of abstracts is 15th August, 2026
  • Please write your mobile number and email address in the submission. Once submitted the abstract cannot be edited.
  • By submitting the abstract, the author transfers the copyright ownership to the organizing committee for publication. The organizing committee reserves the right to reproduce the literature in the print and electronic media.
  • Abstract should have sections on background, method, results (Observations), conclusion and Key Words.
  • The right to allocate the session time or change the presentation time rests with the scientific committee.
  • During final presentation the Slides should be numbered.
  • Slide side ratio 16:9.
  • Headings-font size 26 (minimum, bold), body text font size minimum – 16.
  • Pictures-dpi minimum 150.
  • All graphics, videos, pictures must not be linked but must be included in the PowerPoint slide itself. If video is included it should be embedded in the file.

  • The poster must be clearly marked ON THE TOP that it is for the Best Poster Award.

Guidelines for Free E Posters

  • It must be clearly marked ON THE TOP that it is for the Free E Poster.
  • Format – PowerPoint only – 6 slides maximum including title.Format – PowerPoint only – 6 slides maximum including title.
  • Slide size ratio – 16:9.
  • Headings font size – 26 (minimum, bold), body text font size minimum – 16.
  • Pictures dpi minimum 150.
  • All graphics, videos, pictures must not be linked but must be included in the PowerPoint slide itself. If video is included it should be embedded in the file.
  • E-poster presentation – maximum allotted time is 3 min for presentation and 2 min for discussion for each presentation. Last date of submission of abstract for E-poster: 15th August, 2026.
  • E-mail ID and mobile number of the presenter should be mentioned.
